About Me
Before starting Branching Beyond, I worked for over a decade in a residential school for students with autism. As a behavior analyst my passion lies in supporting children to develop the skills necessary to lead enriched, fulfilling lives as defined by their personal values, interests, and preferences. From teaching functional communication and daily living skills to navigating challenges like self-injury and elopement, my overarching goal is to provide kids with the tools they need to participate fully and with autonomy in their world.
As a parent, my professional experience took on a new meaning when my daughter entered Early Intervention. Navigating my own child’s disability has deepened my understanding of the unique challenges families face, and instilled a desire in me to help parents in similar situations as they enter the unfamiliar world of special education.
My journey has shaped my commitment to providing families with the tools and guidance they need to help their children grow and succeed in meaningful, individualized ways. I’m here to partner with you in creating a path toward learning, connection, and a more accessible future.
